A simple box writing and reading measurements was performed. During the writing phase, a DC voltage of -10 V was applied to write a box. During the reading, a 5 Vpp AC excitation at ~42 kHz on top of a -2 V DC voltage was used. Using both AC and DC voltage at the same time allows for a simultaneous measurement of PFM (right image) and local conductivity (left image). (attocube application labs, 2014; sample courtesy of N. Domingo, ICN Barcelona, Spain) Piezo Response Force image on BFO This image shows the attocube logo electrically written into a BaFeO3 substrate next to natural domains of the sample. The data were taken at 4K in piezo response force mode using an attoAFM/MFM I. Image size is 5x5µm².
